​Asit Dey has a PhD in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Delhi, India, and Bachelor of Technology (Hons) Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyala, West Bengal, India.

Asit is currently working with Sustainable Development as an Environment Engineer. In addition, Asit volunteers in Bichitra- Bengali Association of Manitoba, Manitoba Association of Government Engineers, and India Chapter of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. He also served as the chapter's VP Treasurer from 2018-2019.

Mr. Nishant Dhruve has a Master's of Science and Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba.

For the last five years, he has been working at StandardAero Ltd as a Software Developer with their Central Engineering team and primarily works with their Engine Test Cells. Before that, he worked at Norscan Instruments Ltd where he was an embedded systems designer with their engineering group.

Nishant is an active volunteer with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba where he sits on their subcommittee. He also volunteers with the Gujarati Cultural Society of Manitoba and the Gujarati School of Language, Culture and Arts.

 Siloni Goel is graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (1995) and then with a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering (2000) both from the Thapar University (India); she has completed her educational credentials under IEEQ program (2008) from University of Manitoba. She has worked with AECOM from 2010 to 2013, then she was with KGS from 2013 to 2018 and, she is currently working with Stantec Consultants since 2018. As an Engineer in training (EIT) she has gained a wide range of experience in the field of municipal, geotechnical and environment. She was involved in different types of projects like Water and Sewer Renewal and New Construction, Alley Construction, Spillway Replacement Projects etc. with variety of responsibilities. Siloni is serving as a VP-Communication with the Association’s India Chapter.

Vikram Banthia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Raipur (India) in 2007; and then M.Sc. in 2011 from the University of Manitoba in the field of robotics and automation. He is currently a final year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manitoba. His research involves designing non-linear controllers for hydraulic robots. He is also working full-time at Bausch Health, formerly known as Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, as an Automation Engineer.

He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Vikram is serving as a Councillor of the Association’s India Chapter.
