The India Members Chapter is excited to host a hands-on AutoCAD workshop tailored for
beginners and intermediate learners looking to build or enhance their design skills. AutoCAD is
one of the most widely used design and drafting tools in the world. Whether you're in
mechanical, electrical, civil, architectural, or any other engineering field, AutoCAD equips you
with essential skills for technical drawing, documentation, and design communication.

Instructor Bio: Mr. Khayoum Mohammed is a CAD Manager, Senior Mechanical Designer and
BIM Coordinator for Revit software with the responsibility for management of CAD/BIM
resources and assisting drafting personnel. He works for AtkinsRéalis, a large global
engineering firm. He has more than 40 years of experience and has developed and
implemented standards and customization to optimize production drafting for several
companies. Mr. Mohammed is flexible to work in a multidisciplinary environment with experience
in mechanical, process, electrical, structural, architectural, machine design and civil. Mr.
Mohammed has utilized 3D modelling for conceptual design and drafting on multiple platforms,
primarily Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, Bentley MicroStation & Plantspace. His role with
respect to CAD/BIM is to provide ongoing training and support for 20+ CAD users, to manage
and ensure client standards compliance and to adapt and implement corporate CAD standards
to his Winnipeg office. He provides ongoing CAD/BIM assessment, orientation and development
as well as backup information technology support for networks and users, along with developing
procedures to ensure reliable storage of technical documents.
